Letters For Creation art work on display in Chester Cathedral

Classes 2,3 and 4 all helped to create this artwork, which is currently on display in Chester Cathedral. Classes 3 and 4 learnt about Climate Justice using the 'Letters for Creation' resources created by Christian Aid.

We were inspired by the following quote -

'The Earth does not belong to Man : Man belongs to the earth. Human kind has not woven the web of life, we are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the world we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. ' Chief Seattle

We wove the ' Ojo de Dios ' ( God's eyes ) to show that God is watching over the earth, urging us to help stop the destruction of the earth and the injustice in the way the impact of climate change is affecting different communities.
